WHAT TO EXPECT AT A RAINSHADOW EVENT

First time at a Rainshadow event? Here's a brief intro to your Rainshadow event weekend:

1. Race morning: bring your ID to check in and pick up your bib.
2. Race briefing: about 10-15 minutes before the race start.
3. Race start: off you go, onto some of the most scenic trails in the Pacific Northwest!
4. During the race: we have well-stocked aid stations, excellent volunteers, and a course that is typically marked about every half mile, other than major turns. Bring your own cup - our races are all cupless.
5. Race finish: Run into the finish chute and high-five your race director!
6. Finish line party: you, your family, and your friends are all welcome to join us for pizza, beer, and music! Instead of offering finisher medals or prizes, we pour that money into a stellar finish line party for our community.
   
   • We usually have a live band playing, so grab some food and beer and enjoy their sweet bluegrass tunes.
     
   • Pizza Rocks will be cooking up pizzas as fast as they can (they can also accommodate gluten-free and/or vegan diets).
     
   • Bring a cup to the finish line for some free beer - remember, we are cupless in an effort to reduce our environmental impact!
   • We will have race-specific and Rainshadow merchandise for sale at the finish and accept cash or cards.
7. After the race: you should receive a post-race survey - we would love to hear your feedback!
