The Golden Lakes Map by Amazing Maps shows the 35k course in its entirety, and the Prince Creek Map #115 made by Greentrails Maps shows everything except the first and last three miles (run on FS4340-200 from the Foggy Dew Camp to the Foggy Dew trailhead, and then back on the return).

You'll have seven-and-a-half hours to run the 35k.

Below are the course maps and elevation profile, and you can find a course description here. Please study these and print them out and bring them with you-- the course will be well marked, but it is a remote mountain race, and ultimately it is the runner's responsibility to know the course.

This race is intentionally rather remote, but there are still plenty of lodging options in the area.

For those of you planning to camp at or near the start, there are a few options. Foggy Dew Camp has a handful of tent sites and a pit toilet. There's also room for tents or small camper vans/RVs on the edges of the start/finish clearing.

The start/finish for the 35k is at Foggy Dew Camp, which is about a 20 minute drive from the little town of Carlton, WA. Click here for driving directions.
