Cancellation Policy
We understand things come up and you may not be able to make the race. We are unable to offer refunds for any of our races, but you have the following choices for removing your registration (see below for Orcas 100 policy as it does not follow the same structure as the rest of our races):
Orcas 100 Cancellation Policy
The cancellation options stated above cannot be applied to the Orcas 100. Runners who are registered for the 100 can cancel their registration up to 30 days prior to race day and will receive a $100 rollover credit towards the race the following year. Runners can still cancel their bunkhouse and receive a refund (just email info@rainshadowrunning.com).

Other policies:
- If both races during race-weekend are sold-out and the race is on the same day (i.e. Beacon Rock 25/50K), you can transfer between distances, just send an email to info@rainshadowrunning.com at least one week prior to race day.
- If both races during race weekend are sold out and the race is on separate days (i.e. Sun Mountain 50K/25K) you cannot transfer between distances.
- We cannot do day-of registrations and/or day-of transfers from one race to another if a race is sold-out.
- Please email us if the race isn't sold-out and you would like to transfer distances.
Unexpected Race Cancellation
In the unlikely event that Rainshadow Running would have to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances (wildfire, acts of nature, etc) we are not able to refund money back to participants. If the situation works out that we are able to offer a credit, we will notify all runners immediately, however, the circumstances will depend on when we had to cancel and if more race cancellations are likely. This is up to the discretion of the staff. All registered runners will be sent an email as soon as possible with information about the cancellation and any other pertinent info.
We understand how much money, energy, and time goes into training for an ultramarathon, so if we can make adjustments to courses instead of cancelling, that is our priority, but at the end of the day, the safety of our runners, volunteers, staff, and the general public will be the main factor in our decision to cancel.
